Uneven Color (Color Hair Flower)

The color of the paint film is locally uneven, and there are spots, streaks and cluttered hues. It is generally caused by improper coating of coatings and deterioration of coating components.

Reason:

(1) Insufficient mixing of two or more color paints.

(2) The solvent used has insufficient dissolving ability or improper construction viscosity.

(3) If it is applied too thickly, the pigments in the paint film will have "convection" on the inside and outside.

(4) There is a source of gas that can interact with the paint film near the coating site.

Prevention:

(1) Select the appropriate solvent, and use the coating viscosity and film thickness that meet the process requirements.

(2) The same type of paint should be used when compounding the multi-color paint, preferably the same type of paint produced by the same manufacturer.
