Metallic glitter uneven color (silver powder flower)

When spraying metallic glitter topcoat, due to the uneven thickness of spraying, the different construction methods and the mismatch between the solvent used and the paint, the aluminum powder is not evenly distributed, the orientation is uneven, and the appearance and color of the paint film are uneven.

Reason:

(1) Choose inferior diluent.

(2) Improper choice of spray viscosity (too low or too high).

(3) The coating is too thick or the film thickness is uneven, the atomization is poor, and the spraying operation is not skilled.

(4) When the "wet-on-wet" process is used for base color and varnish, the intermediate drying time is too short.

(5) The ambient temperature is low.

Prevention:

(1) Use the thinner specified by the paint factory.

(2) Select the appropriate spray viscosity.

(3) Improve the proficiency of spraying operation.

(4) Select the appropriate drying time for the "wet-on-wet" process.

(5) Adjust the ambient temperature during spraying to an appropriate range.

(6) Air spraying is used for both wet-on-wet spray primers.
