Paint Cnfiguration Steps

Since the color development of the coating film is a subtractive color, it is more complicated than the additive color of the light source color; and the pigments used are not the three primary colors of subtractive mixing; in addition, the hue, lightness, saturation index, tinting strength, and floating degree of the pigment are It is different, so the color adjustment operation is a careful and careful process, requiring less to see more, not blindly impatient. Mastering the color matching technology of paint requires a process of practice, experience, and improvement.

1. Before color matching, first understand the tonal range of the color to be prepared (standard color card, standard color color sample or paint sample), which color masterbatches are composed, which is the main color, which is the secondary color, color and color What is the relationship between them, and what proportions each account for?

2. Under effective stirring, slowly add each color masterbatch, and adjust carefully according to the principle of adjusting the depth first, and then adjusting the color tone. It's best not to tone down the shades first, as shades can be difficult to compare when the shades don't match.

3. Attention should be paid to the mutual influence of various masterbatch colors during color matching. Each addition should be less than the estimated amount, especially when it is close to the required color, the amount added should be carefully controlled to avoid excessive color.

4. Under the premise of ensuring that the color meets the requirements, the variety of color masterbatches used should be as few as possible. The color of the coating film is based on the principle of subtractive mixing. The more colors are added, the more light is absorbed, the lower the lightness of the color, and the darker the color.

5. After each color masterbatch is added, it should be stirred evenly and then compared to avoid color difference. It should be clear that when color matching, compare the color of the color card (or standard sample) with the color of the coating film of the tested paint, not the color of the paint liquid.

6. During the process from wet film to paint film basically fixed film, the floating and sinking of pigment has a great influence on the coating film, so after making the board, it is necessary to prevent the color of the coating film after a few minutes.

7. When using the standard board for color matching, the color will appear gray due to the long standing time. When comparing with the paint sample coating, it is advisable to soak the standard board with water before performing color comparison.

8. When observing the coating film, be sure to choose bright diffused sunlight, and pay attention to observe that there is no strong reflected light interference from the surrounding objects.
